Hampton Jazz Festival 2017 Tickets

There are several choices to make if you are looking at vacation plans.  This is especially true if you are planning that vacation around entertainment.  You may want to consider late June in Hampton, Virginia.  This is when the Hampton Jazz Festival 2017 will take place.

The event will be happening June 23rd-25th, at the Hampton Coliseum.  This festival began in 1968, and has been offering up some of the biggest names in Smooth Jazz and R&B ever since. This year will be no different.  This is one of the most anticipated festivals of the year.

Let’s see what we have:

Friday, June 23rd

Doors open at 6:30pm

Showtime:  7:30pm

  • Jill Scott
  • Kem
  • Brian Culbertson
  • Gerald Albright
  • Jonathan Butler

Saturday, June 24th

Doors open at 6pm

Showtime:  7pm

  • Anthony Hamilton
  • The O’Jays
  • West Coast Jam
    • Richard Elliot
    • Norman Brown
    • Rick Braun

Sunday, June 25th

Doors open at 1pm

Showtime:  2pm

  • Maze f/Frankie Beverly
  • Patti Labelle
  • Ramsey Lewis
  • Bobby “BlackHat” Walters

The Saturday lineup will add another artist to round out the show.

So let me get this straight.  On night one, three of my favorite jazz artists are performing, on night two I get the West Coast Jam AND the O’Jays, and day three I get Patti Labelle?  Thank goodness someone like me does not have to choose.

Single day tickets are available right now!
